Some photoshoots are just dreamy. They happen without much effort, the conditions are just right and magical moments happen again and again without even realising. That was this shoot.
This was the second time I'd met Lauren, and the first time meeting her scrumptious baby Ettie. She rocked up to Fiddlers Elbow in the Peaks in a navy linen dress, paired with cream converse and baby in arm. Said baby, Ettie, was wrapped in a deliciously textured blanket with a beige linen romper on underneath. Basically perfection and everything I could ever hope for for a Motherhood session.
The sun was about an hour away from setting, making for romantic golden light, lens flare and sunbursts. Ettie was pretty unimpressed with me and my camera, which I actually loved; her scowl is a part of her personality at this age and will be so wonderful to look back on. She eventually remembered how obsessed she is with her mum, and so the smiles and giggles soon came.
So thankful for this beautiful Motherhood session. The stars aligned and magic followed.
